Micro Micro Weddings on the Rise
There are many recent reports stating weddings just got smaller! With news that weddings à deux are becoming commonplace if not the norm, is this something you have experience of? It didn’t take a pandemic or a cost of living crisis to invent the micro-micro wedding. People have wed on the down low since forever but are intimate affairs becoming the in-thing? Are you a professional who has worked on a micro-micro wedding?
What is a micro-micro wedding? Well, if a micro wedding is an intimate affair, typically with no more than 50 guests. Then, consider the micro-micro wedding – just the couple, or maybe a handful of guests! For context, the average UK wedding has 82 day guests and 103 evening guests.
So. are couples minimising their numbers to maximise other areas of the wedding or is the current economic climate just encouraging couples to cut back the costs all together? We would love to hear your thoughts.
